A BIt More About Style Counsel

I'll get this laid out better - I swear, but in the meantime...

ROOM MAKEOVERS - Based on your colors, style and budget.  Complete with furnishings, colors, accessories and sources.  Can be done by email.  I can post your finished design boards online for you or send them to you as a PDF.  $200

DESIGN ADVICE/IN-PERSON HELP - Same as above.  Help choosing color scheme, finding sources, choosing furnishings, organizing, freshening up, de-cluttering.  Services start at $20/hour with a three-hour minimum.

* No Upcharges.  I'm not an interior designer, so I don't have access to wholesale.

* No Finder's Fee.

* No hidden fees.  Good solid advice.  Great price.

* I am not a "re-designer" or "stager."  I did not take a weekend course that allows me to say I'm either of these.  I am a stylist with over eight years of photo and film styling experience and a portfolio of work. 

*Please look around online and talk to friends. Compare fees/services/experience before settling on an Interior Designer, Interior Decorator or other home design professional.  Ask for references.  Ask to see past work. Ask your friends.

Remember, Interior Designers have a degree in Interior Design.  They base their fees off the knowledge they bring to the table and their unique access to fabrics, furnishings.

WEBSITE DESIGN - I've built this site and two others for myself on Squarespace.  I've also done a site for Artstop and designed the Sticks website.  I'm good, I'm fast and I listen.  I can put up a website for you for about $220, including your own URL.  Squarespace costs anywhere from $8-$30/month, depending on your needs.  Your URL is paid yearly and that's about $10/yr.  I can maintain sites and can also blog for your business - very inexpensive with price breaks for year-long contracts.

EVENTS/PARTY PLANNING - Ideas to fit every budget.  I can do all of the planning or act as your agent - a buffer between you and the contractors.  I have a huge backlog of party themes, foods, drinks and decor.

Style Counsel Rate Card
(all prices subject to negotiation/circumstances and may be changed)

*General decor consult, Shopping, Prop procurement, Research = $20/hr

*Photo and Film Styling, On-set dressing = $25/hr or $250/day (over 6 hours and up to 10 hours)

*Room makeover complete with design board, budget breakdown and sources (up to 10 hours) = $225

*Hands-on home editing for resale (up to 8 hours) = $225; $20 each additional hour.

*Hands-on room organization = $225 (up to 8 hours); $20 each additional hour.

*Home organization plan = $225 complete

*Dress Space (Home/Condo dressing, Event decor) = $300 (up to 10 hours); $25 each additional hour.

*Private Event Planning = $20/hr. Hands-on work billed at $25/hr.

*Corporate Event Planning = $30/hr. Hands on billed at $30/hr.
