20 IKEA Kitchens

With apologies to whomever actually shot all these, I present my two-year collection of IKEA kitchens. Picture #17 (with the striped flooring) is the kitchen that set me off. I saw that the space was probably 8'x12' and thought that a similar kitchen could easily fit into my existing space, so I sneakily snapped a photo. I loved the bar in that kitchen (it shows up in several photos above) and had it worked into my original plan, but my home only has about four walls as it is, so the bar (boo hoo) was ixnayed. BTW, those cabinet fronts were unceremoniously discountinued. The replacement is Nexus Yellow Brown, which is a good second place. Nothing I've seen looked as fine as those, tho. Other loves: The IKEA farm sink, the cool (not IKEA) pendants in the last photo, stainless fronts, glass fronts (not for the faint of heart, mind you), and the cool mudroom giddyup.

Ever-Expanding Kitchen Ideas

I've realized two things after going back over the picks below - everything here would look great in my new kitchen. All of it. That said, I can only have one set of curtains and I don't have enough walls for all the art I picked, but I'm impressed by how well the whole thing came full circle despite cupboard dicontinuations, etc.

The other thing I realized was the re-design of my site (I narrowed the columns) affected how this is all laid out. Sorry:)

Also, instead of continuously adding a new title, I'm just going to post new things, so please keep checking back.
