Olive Really Pretty Pillows

I was half tempted to keep this one under my hat cuz I know how you people do, but Olive has the sweetest most "apartment on 9th & Spruce circa 1969" pillows I've ever seen. I am gonna get a birdcage one with my Christmas money - that is, if I'm not too old to still get Christmas money.

Popsicle Stick Etsy Shop

Hi everyone - I guess this is it - I've finally got my own Etsy shop - Popsicle Stick. I've made blankets, scarves, bracelets and a few original watercolors.  Please take a quick minute to check it out, tell me what you think, tell me what you'd like to see (within my very limited skill set).

I'm adding new stuff all the time, but am a little behind on everything because I got some orders and then I'm also donating a blanket to The Nada's Third Annual Silent Night show & auction - such a fun event and this year, the auction proceeds are being donated to Habitat for Humanity's Hurricane Katrina restoration/rebuilding efforts, while the ticket proceeds and donatedted toys will all go to Toys for Tots.  (You should really think about getting all dolled up and heading down there.  It's $20 + a toy and it promises get you in the holiday mood.)

Etsy Favorites This Week

I've been sickety-sick this week and I can't seem to shake it.  I apologize for the lack of posts, but I promise I've got hot stuff up my sleeve.  I was well enough to surf Etsy for days at a time, so here's some shots of my recent favs.  Click them to find all the links and such.

Oh, and I accidentally deleted my entire sidebar.  New editing system from my host has me all kids of mixed up - it's a pain that I lost all that stuff, but just like in the real world, I can't remember what most of it was, so it must not have meant that much.  I started a links page called Friends and Important Places and I'll work dilligently to get all my links back up.  I know a lot of cool peeps and I'd hate for you to miss out on 'em.

Google Maps Street View is facinating and useful.  Look at your own house, check out your friend's new Logan Square pad, check out your boss's house - whatever.  Kids really love it, too, so grab one and get to looking.  Look up your favorite pizza place, your Grandma in Florida's house, or the hotel you stayed in last summer.  Great for "inside" days.  Note:  Not all locations are mapped out - you'll know the "street view" steets by the blue outlines.
